Five young mothers living in a shelter desire for a better life; all have suffered some sort of abandonment and rejection however they attempt to break the cycle of poverty addiction and violence that marked their childhoods. There are no easy answers as they struggle with relationships, parenthood and re-connection. An overwhelmingly moving film with stunning central performances – not be missed.
