Launch of the Durham Energy Manifesto AKA the Big Energy Party
We’re having a Big Energy Party, and you’re invited.
With your help, we’re creating a massive moment for Durham’s history of Energy Democracy – the launch of the Durham Energy Manifesto.
The manifesto is a beautiful document. Crafted by volunteers from across Durham – it’s the words, feelings, worries, and hopes of regular people, amplified loud from Redhills just like our Ancestors’ were.
We’re planning a big party to launch the Manifesto.
There will be…
- Lush food (pan haggerty)…
- Games with prizes, including a limerick competition and pin the pit on the map
- Our famous energy quiz
- A couple short and lovely talks
- A little film screening.
The room will be full of a total mix of people from all kinds of backgrounds. We welcome absolutely anyone who feels passionate about Durham, about our Heritage, our future, and our Energy Democracy.
Ticket Pricing
At Redhills, we want everyone to feel welcome — whatever their financial situation. That’s why most of our events use a flexible pricing system.
For these events, you can choose from three ticket options:
- Open Concession – If money’s tight, choose this rate. No questions asked — we’re just glad you’re here.
- Standard – If you’re able, we encourage you to choose this option. It helps support Redhills and the independent artists and companies we work with.
- Solidarity Price – If you can give a little more, please consider this option. Each Solidarity ticket helps subsidise two Open Concession tickets, opening the doors for more people to enjoy what Redhills has to offer.
