Identity Cabaret

Led by Redhills writer-in-residence Andy Willoughby and theatre-maker Gemma Kell, this free drop in session will use playful poetry, drama, performance and creative writing activities to spark ideas around identity. You might invent a character, write a short poem or monologue, experiment with performance, or simply come along and see what happens.

There’s no pressure to perform and no previous experience is needed. You can join in as much or as little as you like.

Identity Cabaret is about finding your own voice, trying out ideas and meeting other creative people in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere – with the possibility of turning those ideas into something made for the stage.
