REDHILLS ASSEMBLY: HOW DO WE REBUILD OUR COALFIELD COMMON WEALTH?

Friday 2 – Saturday 3 October 2026

On 2–3 October, the extraordinary Pitman’s Parliament – where generations of Durham miners came together to exercise real collective power – will host the Redhills Assembly.

People from across the Coalfield and beyond will gather to explore an idea taking shape at Redhills: how communities can rebuild their Common Wealth and gain greater power to shape their own futures.

We’ll be joined by people doing inspiring work at Hastings Commons, Ujima Project, Democracy Collaborative, Kindred, Kitty’s Laundrette, Tyne & Wear Citizens, Feeding Britain, West End Women and Girls Centre, and others.

£48 – SOLIDARITY RATE

If you or your organisation have more resources available, please consider choosing the Solidarity Rate.
