HECTOR GANNET “Talking In The Mother Tongue” with Durham Miners’ Association Brass Band

Hector Gannet returns to Durham Brass Festival, ahead of their forthcoming third album, The Great Shakedown, due later in this year.

The band’s special performance, Talking In The Mother Tongue, takes place at Redhills Miners’ Hall, and will feature tracks from their new album, accompanied by the full Durham Miner’s Association Brass Band. Hailing from North Shields, the group are embracing fresh dimensions with their new record, including rousing soul sermons which showcase their North Eastern heart, alongside songs that brim with hope, ideas and empathy.
